Terms of service
How Snowy Cloud works, what a subscription includes and what happens when it ends.
Operator
Operator details not configured. The operator of this Snowy Cloud instance has not set LEGAL_ENTITY_NAME and LEGAL_CONTACT_EMAIL yet.
The service
Snowy Cloud issues license keys for the Snowy anticheat plugin for Paper servers, provides a dashboard to configure the plugin and review its detections, and receives telemetry from the servers you connect with your key.
Your account
- You sign in with Discord. Your account is tied to your Discord user id.
- License keys give access to your license. Keep them private. If a key leaks, rotate it in the dashboard: the old key stops working immediately.
- You can sign out other browsers from the account page at any time.
Plans and billing
Subscriptions are monthly and paid through Stripe. Each plan has these limits:
- Starter: 1 active server, up to 50 protected players per server at the same time, 7 days of history.
- Pro: 3 active servers, up to 150 protected players per server at the same time, 30 days of history.
- Network: 10 active servers, up to 500 protected players per server at the same time, 90 days of history.
- The price is shown on the checkout page before you pay and charged every month until you cancel.
- You can cancel, change plans and update payment methods in the billing portal. After canceling, the license stays active until the end of the paid period.
- If a payment fails, the license keeps working for 3 days after the end of the billing period. After that it becomes inactive until the payment succeeds.
Licenses and servers
- Snowy protects a server only while its license is active. When a license becomes inactive, connected servers stop protection at their next check-in.
- Servers receive a signed lease that lets them keep running for up to 72 hours when Snowy Cloud cannot be reached. A lease never extends past the end of the license.
- Removing a server in the dashboard stops it at its next check-in and frees its slot.
Data from your servers
Connecting a server sends data about the players on it to Snowy Cloud, including Minecraft player names, UUIDs and detection details. The privacy policy lists exactly what is collected and for how long it is kept.
