Privacy policy

What Snowy Cloud processes, why, who else is involved and how long it is kept.

Operator

Operator details not configured. The operator of this Snowy Cloud instance has not set LEGAL_ENTITY_NAME and LEGAL_CONTACT_EMAIL yet.

Your account

  • From Discord: your user id, username, avatar and, only when Discord has verified it, your e-mail address. They identify your account and are refreshed each time you sign in.
  • Your e-mail address is used to send your license key, failed payment notices and subscription changes.
  • For each signed-in browser: the time of sign-in and last activity, the browser's user agent and its IP address, shown to you on the account page.

Billing

  • Payments are handled by Stripe. Card and bank details are entered on Stripe's pages and are not received by Snowy Cloud.
  • Snowy Cloud stores your Stripe customer id, subscription id, plan, subscription status and billing period end.
  • Stripe receives your e-mail address (when your account has one), your Discord username as customer name, and internal account ids.

Licenses

License keys are stored only as a SHA-256 hash plus their first and last characters for display. The full key is shown to you once and e-mailed to you when the license is created and when you rotate the key.

Data from your servers

Servers connected with your key send:

  • Server details: the name you give it, a random installation id, plugin, Minecraft and server software versions.
  • Performance figures: players online, TPS, tick time, Snowy's own processing time and memory use.
  • Players online: Minecraft UUID, player name, ping, protocol version and client type (Java, legacy or Bedrock).
  • Detections: for every violation the player's UUID and name, the check, confidence, ping, position, the movement measured and expected, and up to 20 ticks of movement replay; for punishments the commands that were run.
  • The plugin configuration and check settings, and every configuration change made in the dashboard.

Retention

  • Violations, punishments and performance metrics are deleted when they are older than the history period of your plan: 7 days on Starter, 30 days on Pro and 90 days on Network.
  • The list of players seen on a server is kept while the server is connected to your account.
  • A server you remove is deleted together with all its data 30 days after removal.
  • Sessions end after 30 days or when you sign out.
  • Account, license and billing records are kept while your account exists.

Services involved

  • Discord: sign-in.
  • Stripe: payments, invoices and the billing portal.
  • Resend: delivery of e-mails (recipient, subject and content). A copy is kept in Snowy Cloud's e-mail log with license keys masked.

Cookies

Snowy Cloud sets one session cookie, snowy_session, when you sign in. It is required to stay signed in and lasts up to 30 days. During Discord sign-in a temporary cookie protects the login request and is removed when sign-in completes or after 10 minutes. No analytics or advertising cookies are used.

Your choices

  • Remove servers, rotate license keys and sign out other browsers in the dashboard.
  • Cancel your subscription in the billing portal.
  • For a copy or deletion of your data, contact the operator.
